Outing

It was so nice out today that we had to get out of the house.
We went up to Gettysburg. I love going on a picnic there so we went to Devils Den. It is where the Confederate Army hid snipers during the battle of Gettysburg.
Thankfully now it is for climbing and reenacting.
I always feel thoughtful when I go there. I love that Hubby knows the history well and shares it with our son.
We even had a little fun being ghosts.

Hey there! I saw your blog listed on 5minutesformom, and was instantly drawn to it because I'm addicted to Diet coke. Then I saw that you're mormon. I grew up mormon, even went to BYU, but am not active right now. I'll be checking back later, for sure!

What a treat to be able to visit someplace that has so much history.

Looks like a lot of fun to me. We tried to do a picnic the other day, but we went to a riverfront park and it was a little breezy. Glad you had a good time.

It's always an awesome moment when you reflect on a place's deep history. Just think of all the battles that occurred there!

That looks like so much fun! So glad you got to go out, enjoy the outdoor and learn something in the process! I cant wait till it dries up a little here so its not so squishy when we walk across the grass.
