"If I knew what you just said to me you would so be grounded" I say to my son as he shakes his finger at me eyebrows raised and babbles what sounds like baby cursing. All this over the fact that I will not let him watch TV.
"Go ahead rip my magazine I was done with it anyway."
"Pulling the stuffing out of the pillows will not sway me either."
"Ok that was my drink that is now in my shoe."
He's looks up at me one last time and says as sweet as an angel
"Happy now mama."
Then goes to read a book.
