Party time!

Saturday was Nick's birthday party. We had it at McDonald's.
The kids had a blast, I didn't have to do much and it was all under 100 dollars. The only problem we had was a potty accident.
One of the kids who is a few months older then BB was on the bridge had gotten scared and well peed his pants. Luckily my mother saw it coming down and ran...before it landed on her head.

Duncan the fat cat writes a post.

The day started out normal.
Eat food, have bath go to the box.
I'm half way through the stupid square hole in the door on my way out and...I'm stuck.
I can do this.... wiggle, wiggle, stretch...POP!
That can't be good.
Great the square is stuck to my stomach!
I waddle to the human women.
She was a big help, all I got from her was hysterically laughing and shouting "Where's my camera, Oh my gosh WHERE is it!"
Thanks lady I'll remember that.
The little human wasn't any help either. "It's okay Donkey, take a big breath"
First of all kid it's Duncan, do I look like a pack mule to you?...Never mind don't answer that.
And Second, breathe you try breathing with a door attached to you!
Finally the women comes to her senses and pulls me free.
I think I'll go eat now.

2. To get everything I want, when I want it...Oh wait I have this one done.

3. To sleep in mommy's bed every night, and take her pillow from her.

4. To save mommy and daddy some money by cutting my own hair
...now where are those scissors?

5. To avoid potty training for at least another year.

6. And finally this is the year that I will make it through the cat door.

Best thing I have heard all week.

A stream of sunlight was coming through the kitchen window.
My son looks up at me and whispers "Look mommy, angels".....pointing to the dust that was floating in the sunlight.

How to put up a tree- A guide to a happy holiday marriage.

Hubby: "It's not in the basement"

Me: "Check the attic"

Hubby: "Nope"

Me: "Closet?"

Hubby: "Negative"

Me: "Oh, right we don't have one."

Hubby: "Then let's get a live one this year."

Me: "Do you want to kill me?"

Hubby: (ponders)

Me: "Beside I'm still trying to get over the invasion of 89*" (shudders)

Hubby: "Then I'll go buy a fake one at Walmart."

Me: "It's 8pm...I can go tomorrow and pick it out it's just easier if I do it."

Hubby: "That's ok, I can go now."

15 mins later-Phone rings

Me: "Hello"
Hubby: "4 feet or 6 feet?"
Me: "6 feet is fine"
Hubby: "Cool, bye. "

Ring Ring

Me: "Hello"
Hubby: "With or without lights? "
Me: "With, less work. Anything else?"
Hubby: "Nope I'll be home soon."

Ring Ring

Me: "Yes, the love of me life."
Hubby: "White or colored lights? "
Me: "White "
Hubby: "White, got it."

So now we have a pretty 6 foot fake tree with lights...Like I said it would of been so much easier to go by myself, but then what would I blog about...Thanks honey.

*The year I found out I was allergic to pine, and we had a gift with purchase when we bought the tree...A sac of bugs....They were everywhere. (starts twitching)

We love to sing.

We play music in the car in the house we even hum in the mall.
BB's favorite singer right now is Laurie Berkner...Thanks to Laurie now he can spell BOOTS.
Every once in a while I get the honor of listening to my music.
And he has one song I listen to that he makes me play over and over again.
"You and Me" by Lifehouse.
Today we are in a store he stops looks up and gasps...
"It's my favorite" and starts to sing along with it.
Two ladies started giggling.
He was belting it out and swaying.
Maybe he'll become a famous singer and buy his mama a bigger house.

Flashback Friday

Age 3 - I was making mud pies...hey you have to try what you make!

He's ready.

We pull up in front of the house after school and my son points to our neighbors house.
They had up festive lights and garland.
Then BB looks at our house and says"Where is my Christmas?"
I explain that we have to clean up all of the toys that have exploded in our house.
He walks in and says "Let's clean Mama, I want Christmas!"

Cleaning up toys - 2 hours
Pizza for three- 20$
Listening to Hubby belt out "So This Is Christmas" with Celine Dion .....Priceless

"And I don't like candy corn."

Last night was a blast. It was the first time BB really got into a holiday.
He wanted to walk up to the house by himself and ring the bell or knock.
He did great. After 30 houses he was dragging his 3 pound Batman bag of candy and grabbing his throat saying "I so thirsty!"
We will never eat all this candy so off it goes to hubby's office.
This morning after waking up from a sugar induced coma, BB and I went to Target in search of a Buzz Lightyear costume for 50% off.
I have to go now and stop Buzz since he is standing on the top step with arms out yelling "To infinity and beyond"
